I was shooting at 100 yards with this rifle last weekend for the first time and noticed that at 100 yards the front sight takes up the whole target. It will work I know but I'm kinda wanting to be able to get some tighter groups. So without scoping it, what are the best alternatives? I am shooting cast bullets and will have deer loads, but might go hotter. I have heard people say don't go with a tang sight due to the fact you might lose an eye when you shoot it. Also I'm 6'3" so I'm kinda choked up on it anyway? I know people on here have changed them out so what works best?

Wow, that's probably a kicker huh? what about a forward mounted "scout style" long eye relief scope Like the Leupold 2.5X6? It seems something like that would be perfect. Also what about a decent Dot sight of somekind, forward mounted as well? It seem's like Brownells sell's the mount. Reguards keeder:)

Get a Brockman or Wild West Ghost Ring rear, and a Williams Fire Sight front and you'll be in business!
