Only out of these two, who makes a better pre-fit recoil pad? The stock recoil pad on my 590 is decent but I'm always looking for better.

Limbsaver. You didn't list it, but go with Limbsaver. I have almost all brands but Limbsaver is the better for me.

I know you were only looking fore experience with the two pads, but I haven't tried the Hogue recoil pad. I have Pachmayr, Limbsaver, and Kickeez grind to fit pads on my guns. They all do a good job absorbing recoil. I like the Pachmayr pad the best as the other two are a little grippy and tend to catch on my clothing when mounting the gun.

I have a limbsaver on my Maverick 88 (really needed it). It works really good, but looks need to be a little improved if I'm gonna put it on my 590.
