Available with either a wood or synthetic stock, this new Puma also comes with a 50 round drum magazine for extended shooting. Of course, if you live in a more restrictive area, a 10 round stick magazine version will also be available in both wood and synthetic stock models. gsg5, Sig 522, and now this... I'm going to have a safe full of .22s by the end of the year, I just know it.

It won't help much in a SHTF scenario, but boy will I have some neato plinkers! :p

Actually, how many rounds of .308 can most of us afford?
Last I checked, 1K is going to run over $500 if you can find it.
How much will 1K of .22 LR cost you? Better yet, how many round of .22LR can you get for $500?

The humble .22 may be a whole lot more useful in a SHTF than you'd think.

But back on topic, that thing does look very cool!

$550-585 for a .22 semi-auto? $105 for the big mag? $50 for the 10 round mag?

I think I'll stick with my Marlin, thanks. I know it works, hate to spend that kind of money and who knows.

If I want a cool little semi-auto, I'll pull out my Kel-tec Sub2000.

I'd just save another $200 and get closer to the real thing...

Those PPSh's are really cool, wouldn't mind having one myself. Didn't care for my CZ 52 but I thought the x25 round was sweet.

That is a pretty cool looking little rifle. The GSG-5 rifle is first on my plinker list at the moment. Finally looked at the pistol version and I will buy the rifle version when I find one for a fair price.

My only question about this rifle is... is it reliable? Accuracy... it's a plinker, not a target rifle.

I want this gun scaled up and offered in a .45 Puma makes very "serviceable" guns in my experience and I'm glad the line is expanding.

Just make sure the drum is not a variation of the Pro-Mag 10/22 drum if you expect to actually fire 50 rounds without a jam.

I think these various .22 look-alike guns are cool but over-priced. Can get the same blasting away from from a 10/22 and the various banana mags for it at much lower cost. I've had very good results with the Ram-Line 50 round mags in my 10/22 since I replaced the extractor with a Volquartson "exact edge".

I did spring for a Spike's dedicated .22 AR upper, and while pricey, I get practice using the real AR trigger and sights and its already paid for itself if all the .22 ammo I've shot through it were .223 instead.

My Wiselite PPSh from MGS has been a lot of fun, but only the drum it came with has been reliable, I haven't figured out the trick to getting the others I got from CDNN and Inter-Ordnance to work yet. No issues with any of the stick mags.

Yes, if they could make that in 7.62x25, they'd have a winner.

That is pretty cool!

But I really like my CMMG conv bolt for my AR-15 just fine too. It's good to have choices.

That looks like a reincarnation of the old Squires Bingham PPS-50 rifle. Looks like it would be a fun toy.
