Cheap pr-24s

Cheaper than Dirt is selling off genuine, police surplus PR-24s at $10 apiece. Quite a deal when the new ones list for around $75. The ones I got were well used, but there's no real way to damage a PR-24.
Hint: If the handle screw is loose get a piece of 3/16" square bar stock. bend it to a right angle in a vise, and you have a handy wrench to tighten it up.

Monadnock PR-24s are the original (and most would say best) side handle police baton. Lost a lot of popularity to ASPs in the last few years, but still one heck of an impact weapon. See http://www.batons.com/pr/index.htm.

Oh, okay. Sorry, my state prohibits me from using one. :(

Yeah, Rodney King wishes they'd done the same to the LAPD. Clubs are the world's oldest weapon- it amazes me that some governments try to outlaw them when almost anything could be used for one in an emergency.

Yeah. It is hard to believe that a simple metal stick, a technology thousands of years old, is banned.
