Was in my Academy here in Richmond Tx to pick up some outrageously priced .38 spl plinking ammo (seems like even the Monarch brass in 9mm / .38 spl is now $ 11 / 15 per 50) and spied a Glock 30 in their handgun display, which was surprisingly well stocked.

In fact, had to wait for the clerk to finish processing a couples order (looked like they were getting a Smith for him, a Walther for her :D). Anyways he finally fishes it out of the display and I go over it.

Not my first time handling one, but was still impressed how compact it was. It fit my hand well and didn't seem any more awkward than my G19, which I carry alot in shorts and t-shirt with no problems. 10+1 rds of .45 ACP on tap, whats not to like?

Price was $ 569 NIB - do you think thats reasonable in the current climate? Just had the regular Glock sites on it.

That is an OK price(you can always try to make an offer or get some ammo thrown in), you could do better online, but I always prefur local if it is even close to online prices. I see them sell for ~500 new(400-450 used) online, but you add in shipping and transfer fees plus wait I would get local and try to deal if they will.

In Arizona if you can find a Glock you will pay about 50 bucks more than that. Get it.
