I saw a left handed 1100 in a store today for $400. Looked good except for this funky attachment to the loading lever. The guy said it was a speed loader but it hung down below the frame and looked like it would easly snag on something. Anyone have any experience with these??

I don't like the speed feeds. When you chamber load you gotta go over the top of the reciever because if you go from the bottom sometimes you hit the speed feed and your bolt closes before you get the round in :(

Better solution to what the speed feed does is what the new 1100 competition master has, the oversized button. But you can always replace the speed feed with the stock part. Just buy it from Brownells or somewhere.
