I'm having the collapsible stocks on my AR-15's replaced with A1 buttstocks. The above linked article suggests replacing standard buffers with H-Buffers.
Question: Is there such a thing as H-Buffers for A1 Buttstocks?

A rifle buffer already weighs closer to the H2 weight.
In any case, I do not recommend using heavier buffers. The increase cycle time which means the rifle is moving during recoil longer. They do mask some malfunctions, but I prefer to fix the underlying problems if present.

when you use an A1 buttstock you must use a standard size buffer tube/spring/buffer you will not use the buffer tube extension, also use the shorter upper screw on your buttplate, I don't think you can use the collapsible stock spring and/or buffer.

That is correct.
Using a carbine buffer in a rifle receiver extension tube will cause damage.
