My Mossberg 835 shoots great but I find it hard to shoulder (it seems long compared to my little old 870) especially with heavy clothing and or a Turkey Vest. I also find that I am really leaning forward to get a full view in the Scope when I slug hunt for deer. Anyway I was looking for a shorter stock and kind of accidentally found the SpecOps Adjustable Stock on Cabela's site. Any thoughts on it? Has anyone used it on an 835 for turkey and does the recoil reducing model work ok? Thanks for any opinions.

Where is the safety on your 835? if it's a tang I would not recommend the SpecOps....but Knoxx also makes a more standard butt stock with recoil reduction called the comp stock or something like that.
If your safety is cross bolt in the trigger area then the SpecOps will work for you and it does have more recoil absorbtion then the Comp version.
