Captain Kirk Demonstrates Proper Gun Control

Thought a little humor would brighten up the day.. Good ol Captain Kirk should be an inspiration to us all. I guess he was beamed back to the 21st century as Denny Crain. IN this video he is showing us why it is better for us to be armed instead of being disarmed and at the mercy of the neighborhood crime watch :D

I figure most people arent going to want to touch this one. I say screw political correctness and say that was sweet. Maybe I will start watching Boston Legal now. Although I probably wouldnt have aimed for the legs. Maybe Denny Crain wanted to represent the injured young man in the civil suit against himself.

That 2nd one was a classic too. When Shatner stood up, I thought he was going to salute the NRA! What he did was even better.

I haven't seen much of the show, but caught this little exchange:

(other guy) "You shot me!"
(Denny) "It was a pellet gun. Don't be such a girl!"

This was posted everywhere back when it first aired. It's very clever TV but not really very good in so far as a self defense shooting.
He didn't do anything to disarm the thug, who, though clearly disabled in pain, could still have grabbed his gun and responded.

Very theatrical, but little else to recommend for it.

ION Television, the cable channel, has a few hours back to back of Boston Legal reruns on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It's one of my favorite shows and Shatner's Denny Crain is one of the greatest TV characters, IMO, I've yet to watch.

Many times, but it is still funny.

I was a fan of the show for years. Some of its more absurd aspects actually do have some basis in the reality of legal practice. When I sometimes pull a rabbit out of a hat and am asked, in effect, how, I love to answer, "Denny Crain."
