4Freedom March 1, 2009, 07:36 AM Thought a little humor would brighten up the day.. Good ol Captain Kirk should be an inspiration to us all. I guess he was beamed back to the 21st century as Denny Crain. IN this video he is showing us why it is better for us to be armed instead of being disarmed and at the mercy of the neighborhood crime watch :D

earlthegoat2 March 1, 2009, 08:21 AM I figure most people arent going to want to touch this one. I say screw political correctness and say that was sweet. Maybe I will start watching Boston Legal now. Although I probably wouldnt have aimed for the legs. Maybe Denny Crain wanted to represent the injured young man in the civil suit against himself.
Gamera March 1, 2009, 08:24 AM 4Freedom, thank you for making my week. I'm in tears right now.
nyggis March 1, 2009, 08:26 AM Excellent!
Kragax March 1, 2009, 09:22 AM Thak was the best thing Ive seen all week.
KarenTOC March 1, 2009, 09:41 AM too funny! (but in a GOOD way)
I've never seen Boston Legal - but this video makes me want to go rent the DVDs and start at the beginning lol.
heron March 1, 2009, 09:46 AM "Knee . . . right foot . . . left foot"???

chris in va March 1, 2009, 11:47 AM Oh no, my analytical Virgo side is coming out.
The BG is pointing a 1911 at WS. A minute into the robbery he finally cocks the hammer.:p
steveracer March 1, 2009, 11:53 AM MY face is killing me from the 15 minutes I spent laughing at that one!! Perfect.
I love Shatner.
Steve
Guitarslinger46 March 1, 2009, 11:54 AM That 2nd one was a classic too. When Shatner stood up, I thought he was going to salute the NRA! What he did was even better.
zoom6zoom March 1, 2009, 12:13 PM I haven't seen much of the show, but caught this little exchange:
(other guy) "You shot me!"
(Denny) "It was a pellet gun. Don't be such a girl!"
Tommygunn March 1, 2009, 01:46 PM This was posted everywhere back when it first aired. It's very clever TV but not really very good in so far as a self defense shooting.
He didn't do anything to disarm the thug, who, though clearly disabled in pain, could still have grabbed his gun and responded.
Very theatrical, but little else to recommend for it.
Lightninstrike March 1, 2009, 01:55 PM Lmfao
woad_yurt March 1, 2009, 02:36 PM ION Television, the cable channel, has a few hours back to back of Boston Legal reruns on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It's one of my favorite shows and Shatner's Denny Crain is one of the greatest TV characters, IMO, I've yet to watch.
hso March 1, 2009, 02:39 PM Practical?
No
Funny?
Yep
Been shown here before?
Many times, but it is still funny.
Duke of Doubt March 1, 2009, 02:43 PM I was a fan of the show for years. Some of its more absurd aspects actually do have some basis in the reality of legal practice. When I sometimes pull a rabbit out of a hat and am asked, in effect, how, I love to answer, "Denny Crain."
Tommygunn March 1, 2009, 04:48 PM "Denny Crain?"
ARGH!
D E N N Y C R A N E
There. Now I can relax.:neener:;):D
Double Naught Spy March 1, 2009, 05:02 PM Not Captain Kirk and Not proper gun control.
rfwobbly March 1, 2009, 05:05 PM Those ARE funny ! Thanks.
4Freedom March 1, 2009, 05:09 PM Not Captain Kirk and Not proper gun control.
He will always be Captain Kirk to me and watch out, he carries a photon ray for those who don't have respect. :neener::neener::neener:
