Walker's power muffs $119. Is this a good ear muff for the price. I know there are some in the $300 -$400 range.
What are some brands in the $100 - $150 range that you think are better than the power muff.
thanks.

OMG no, dont do it. Get a set of muffs that provide a 30 DB reduction.

Makes those magnum slug shells BOOM cut down to a comfortable THUMP. Igot a pair for like 30 bux wife has a remington set for 25 dollars and we fire in a confined range box.

Walker's and Peltor both make good sets of muffs. Look at the db reduction level - the higher the number, the more protection offered. If you want the most protection, put some 30db plugs in your ears and then a similarly rated set of muffs over your ears to protect the bones that surround the ear.

If you don't mind passive muffs, I have Howard Leight and am pleased:

This thread reminded me to buy some of these earplugs:

They're not so much for me, and more for people who come shooting with me to give them options.
