Hi, who owns them? What mods can you do to them?
Has anyone used the mecury stock insert to combat the
recoil?
Anyone used a Limb Saver recoil pad? What size did you use?

I have one and like it, but it kicks good with slugs. I, to, would be interested in hearing about recoil reducers.

I like mine fine. Never thought of modifying it as it is pretty much all that as is. JMHO. :D

I put the Chaote PS stock on my 1201FP for a while. It was fun to shoot for a while but evently went back to the standard stock. It just felt better after getting a feel for what both could and could not do.
I just wish i would have gotten some nite sites for it.....but I guess that for a later project.
I have only had one problem a couple of years ago with some Winchester value pack#8 shot. I took it home and cleaned out the recoil spring and shaft.......no problems after that. That has become a yearly procedure for me....if it needs it or not.
Us 1201FP fans are a unique set indeed:D :D :D

Got a preban 1201FP with factory PG stock as well as a straight stock and benelli M1 PG stock. Benelli PG is easier on the biceps than the factory PG stock and makes it easy to reload while the gun is trained on the target, but the straight stock is faster for me to use and gives less felt recoil/muzzle jump.
Recoil Reducer? No thanks. Shoot well and shoot often; the recoil reduction will take place on its own. Only mod I would like is a non-rotating bolt handle, larger front sight or GR sightsd. The tiny rifle sights on mine are extremely precise in slow fire, in rapid I just use the front blade a reference.

Yes, I actually named my 1201, and yes, I call her Precious. :neener:
I really can't find a reason to complain about this gun, it's really nice. I bought it with some wraparound recoil pad, which I just left on.
About the only thing I'd like is.... more shots :D
I have the 20" model, and heck I wouldn't mind having another.

Got one, has tritium rifle sights. Love it as it is but I may add a white light attachment for my ITI M3. (Surefire stocks can upset the recoil system.)
Used in all my training classes, avg about 200 shells/day - never had a malf or failure.
Preferred indoor SD gun. All loads are patterned and ranged for inside my house. Can make headshots anywhere inside home.
Shoot Fed reduced recoil 00, 000 and slug only. No pain, less perceived recoil than my Rem 870MM.
Outdoors, honestly prefer my Remmy.
