Looking through the paper this morning I am amazed and humored by the adds. So far I have seen for sale: a 30R6 rifle, a winchester Carbeam, and a Mouser and a Yugo SKX. Anyone know if any of these are particulary rare? I for one have never heard of them before.

I bet those are owned by the same guy who has a missing nagan and a salt rifle.

Fits right in with the ad for a truck with an 8,000-lb wench.

These little local-area trade papers whose ads are mostly phone-in are full of that sort of thing. But, apparently, "Thrifty Nickel" hires a bit better sort of folks who can spell...well, "Mo bettah", anyway.

From the 1956 Clanton, AL police files-

quoting the Clanton, AL police chief

"He shot her at the eat'in table".

I don't remember the exact headline, but after a journalist was killed in Iraq a couple of months ago I saw something like this on a major web news site "Army Troops Shoot Dead Journalist". If he was already dead why did they shoot him?

bobs, if the head is not separated from the body by at least 3 feet, it is still a threat. Make sure those threats, i.e. journalists, are down for good.:D

I still want to get me one of those 762mm or 300caliber firearms. They sound fun, but the ammo sounds expensive.

And a 426 "Hammy" powered engine.
