spent shell hangs up before it gets thrown out. seems extractor is OK and new cartridge is on it's way in.
this is a Walther design BTW. magazine looks OK. any one have a link to Walther/Pa schematic? any suggestions apreciated.

Is this a Hungarian PA63 FEG 9x18 type pistol??

That gun is not really a Walther design. Although it is often described as a "copy" of the PPK, there is a lot of difference.

They were originally made in 9mm Mak, but some were rebarrelled to take .380 ACP. Those often have the kind of problem you describe, in part because the American .380 ACP is less powerful than the standard European equivalent, known as the 9mm Browning Short.

Maybe this will help M45?

Could be the springs were changed out on it also... some of them were too "quick" to allow full eject from what I have read.

thanks all for the replys, I found that the small 'V' spring in the ejector was broken. the ejector was not hitting the spent case on it's way back out of the breech.
