Have any of you guys loaded a Sierra sbt 150gr 308 for a Win Model 88?
Wondering if they will shoot ok in that gun with 1-12 twist. They call for a coal of 2.750" .

No reason that they wouldn't.
1/12 twist has been the standard for .308 rifles ever since it came on the scene in the 1950's.

1-12 will work fine for bullets up to 175 grain.
If you want to shoot 190's, 200's, then you might need a 1:10

Lets think this through.
The 7.62 NATO load for the M-14 rifle used a 150 grain FMJ-BT bullet.
The M118 173-grain, Full Metal Jacket Boat-Tail round was specifically designed for highest level Match shooting accuracy.
The M-14 rifle has a 1/12 twist barrel, same as your Winchester!

Compared to 150gr FMJ ball, heck yes the M118 was accurate, and had the higher BC needed for long-range shooting.
But as others have said, 1:12 is fine. I've shot 125's up to 210's from my 1:12.
