Ruger PC9 reverse safety for a lefty?

Well title says it basically I have a PC9 and the safety is not really good for a lefty and would love to change it to the other side. It looks like you can take it apart but before I just take a flat head screwdriver to it I wanted to hear from some people other then myself! (yes I talk to myself!)

Anyone got any experiance with reversing the safety's on ruger PC rifles?
