Got this interesting lil piece a while ago. It's chambered in the short lived .356 TSW round which is 9x21.5 amazingly the store I got it from have many boxes of this stuff left...maybe I should go pick them up( only grabbed 2). Anywho it sat in the gunstore for a long time, until they I finally found out that you could also shoot 9x19 out of it. Very nice trigger, and ported barrel. Since its a performance center gun, I thought all in all for $500 it was quite a nice purchase.

Very cool! I would have jumped on that if I saw it for that price. It'll never lose value.
If you haven't been to it check out www.smith-wessonforum.com. Those guys would love to see this, post it in the "revolvers 1980 to present" category.

9mmTSW, S&W wanted to get into the hot cartridge market and tried this 21.5mm length, it is a good round but a 38 super and a 9x23 beat it.
TSW stands for Tactical Smith Wesson they also chambered one of their autos in 9mmTSW. It was one of S&Ws gun a month failures.

at least I can run regular 9x19 through it, not sure you could do that with their autos in .356

since its a performance center, it shoots reaaaal nice.

Nice find! That's one rare bird you've got there. I've got a 940 myself and enjoy the heck out of it. Quite of a bit of bark with that short barrel.

Thats cool especially since you can run 9x19 through it too for cheap practice.... and its not to shabby a defense round too.
