Did notice last night and to a degree this evening ... some of the old troubles recurring.

Go to reply to a post and get error 404 ... refresh and same .. once last night or early today .. it kept happening so gave up ...... did manage later and that was after a reboot but hardly think that should determine this sorta trouble ..... not happening elsewhere.

Even just getting one or posts to come up gave error 404 and a refresh got me in .... firewall is set to best of everything for THR ... trusted and all cookies so ... hard to see that as a prob.

Just mentioning really to see if others have had similar again - or not.

In IE:

Tools->Internet Options
Go to the "Advanced" tab (on the far right)
Notice the 17th box under the "Browsing" section: "Show friendly HTTP error messages"

Turn this OFF.
It is utterly useless. In effect, leaving that option on makes IE display incorrect error messages.
