Are these guns for sale now? I saw an ad not too long ago saying that they were coming in March but didn't say when in March.

Im thinking there going to be about as available as the LCPs are. I dont know if it is true demand or Ruger is deliberately limiting production so they can extort suppliers into buying more of their turds (ie: Hawkeye rifles).

They are going to make less LCRs so they can make these outrageous "deals" to their suppliers by saying if they buy 10 Hawkeye Rifles they will give them 1 LCR Free or some nonsense like that.

I agree with this statement as well but having worked in firearms supply chain I understand Rugers method.

Sounds like an interesting conspiracy but I would like to see some foundation in reality before I would go around repeating it. I think the bottom line is selling guns. The profit margin on the LCP and the LCRs would no doubt be more than other, more complicated weapons in the stable. I think its more logistics than some evil plot.

i was told by my local gun dealer march 1st was the "expected" launch date ive been keeping my eye on these because im very interested in shooting one myself maybe even buying one
but if its anything like the LCP or taurus judge 3 inch it may be a while before the public sees any of them

The public has been seeing the LCP for a while now. Dealers just can't keep 'em on the shelves because they're a hot item, so you don't see that many of them.
I've had mine since August '08.
