What do you guys think of these holsters? Does anyone have any personal experience with them? They seem a bit pricey for kydex.

My experience with the Ehud is that it's too big and bulky. It's cut for Glock 17 length to help keep it in. The j-hooks stick out quite far and print. It's made from thick kydex. On the pro side of things, it's durable and easy to take on and off.
Personally, I think there are better holsters out there. But, it works well for some people.
I have never seen a Joah in person, so I cannot comment on it.

There just don't seem to be that many vertical/appendix holsters on the market. What about the comp-tac two o'clock? http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=89

The key is in adjustability...both forward and back. Even wearing different pants may require a slight change in angle for comfortable wear. When I make my own appendix carry holsters (I don't sell them anymore), I always include several settings.
At least part of the reason is the position of the belt vertically relative to the body. For example, I have to use reverse cant when I wear BDUs, but switch to a more vertical configuration with 511s. 511 Jeans require more of a BDU cant, but Wranglers need a slight forward cant. I also have to move the holster right or left depending upon the gun carried, length of grip, tightness of belt and other factors.
Also keep in mind that you'll need a small space between the frontstrap of the grip and your belt. Otherwise, you'll end up having to lift the gun slightly prior to achieving a solid grip. This is fine for range use, but can be a real problem in a fight where you're getting punched, kicked or moving around.
None of this is to say the Ehud and Joab are "bad". They clearly work for larger individuals. As we all know, holsters are very personal items that require fitting and testing.
