A beautiful warm semi-sunny day out. Me and the boy got to play outside and practice some woods skills.

First my son (9) took on some zombie coffee cans with his trusty Daisy. Its about time for a Christmas .22 this year (who cares what the ex says  )

He then tried his little Winchester out...

It held up just fine....he was very happy with it.

While he did that I whipped up a toy figure 4 with my Becker

That's great, I think it's awesome to get the kids out & teach them about the great out doors & shooting & stuff.
I wanted to get my Girls out today but my 7 Y.O. wanted to play with one of her Girl Scout friends.
Instead I shot my Recurve a little.

Looks like a nice way to spend the day...

Me and all 3 sons spent a the afternoon and into the early evening shooting our bows , my 5 year old was complaining we had to stop when it got dark.... so we didn't , drug out the shop lights on stands and kept on going.

Voodoochile--Stay positive and stay available! The "teachable moment" will come, and when it does, drop what you are doing and take that opportunity!

Kids have many friends. They only have one Dad. :)

And good on Todd A, and all the others, for "being there" for their young'uns.

BTDT myself, and the time, expense, and hassle, ARE worth it. And you DO make a difference to your kids.
