Earlier this week I purchased a S&W M&P 15 MOE. This morning we took her out for a shoot.

WOW what a gun. No jams with 3 different magazines. I only wish I could see well enough to shoot this baby It is accurate. I couldn't be happier with how it shot. The best part was the cleaning, this was easy too.

s&w are some of the best on the market.
some say that they are branded stag but that affair was ended not long after it started so i dont get why they still think that. they've been made in house for at least 3 years, except the performance center, they use sun devil to build on.

my personal mp-15A I dont hardly clean. i dont know why i dont bother heck aluminum doesnt rust and I've never ever had a barrel get ruined by not cleaning. with my handloads it shoots 3" 30 shot groups at 100 yards and I have a leupold cq/t on it, which has a 3MOA dot at full magnification.

long story short, no cleaning, only lube, around 1100 rounds, 0 malfunctions.

now the part of me using hk magazines only might have a lot to do with never having a magazine issue.

I love S&W AR-15's. If I had the cash, I'd get the 5.45 x 39 version.

Enjoy, the rifle will serve you well.

I've never actually met someone who paid for one of those...

The S&W seemed to be the 5th best rated rifle. My dealer told me for a shooter he would rather have a S&W than the Colt, especially @ $500 less.

I do like it. After reading all the stories on how dirty these guns get, my gun was cleaner than any rifle I have ever shot.

welcome to the club.. and the biggest financial drain you'll ever have My wife said I could spend $1200 on an AR. $2000 and $400 of ammo later she was pretty mad

I do love it though. I have a M&P15A.

Supposedly those HK mags wear out pretty quickly. When they do you should look into replacing them with P-mags.

How does that saying go... "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to beg for permission".
