S&W mod.36 S.B.

Bought a mod.36 s.b. over the weekend. The gun is 99% with the old blue cardboard box and all the paperwork. Paid $230. Called S&W with the serial # and they told me that it was manufactured in 1981.

Handy little guns. Sounds like you got a decent price, compared to what I've seen around here. I've had one for a few years. I recently fitted it with Pachmyer grips and it's an even better shooter than before. I have some stag grips and a Tyler T-grip if you're interested ;)

While most folk's consider the round butt S&W
model 36 more concealable, the square butt model
is the easiest to shoot; especially for persons with
rather large hands. Either way, what a great find
and good price. Enjoy-
