My brother showed me a Remington 572 Field Master, one that I never knew exsisted. The barrel and reciever are a brown/red in color and looks like anodizing and the barrel is made of magnesium. It's super light and in excellant shape. Does anyone have any info on this.
Thanks.

That gun is a 572 Lightweight. The barrel is aluminum alloy, not magnesium, and has a steel sleeve. They made 34,785 in 1958-62.
They made them in Buckskin Tan, Teal Blue, and Crow-Wing Black. They all bring a nice premium over the standard 572 if in top condition, with the scarcer blue bringing top dollar, around $800 if new in the box.
