I was told that Springfield made a new Poly 1911. Anybody have one? I cant seem to find them on their website.:confused: :o

I see that Kimber makes them. Anybody have a poly Kimber?

I have a polymer Kimber that has been trouble free, but its a Series I, built on the BUL M5 frame, and of course, no longer produced by Kimber. I think Charles Daly is importing the BUL line though...

The new polymer Kimbers dont feel as good to me.

A poly 1911 might be cool if it's a single stack & used standard 7 & 8 round mags.
