I'm pretty sure I'm gonna build a Ruger Charger with an Archangel tactical kit.

I haven't actually seen one in person yet, but the pictures are pretty cool. I think it's new.

All your thoughts are welcome!

looks pretty cool to me!

I haven't shot one so I don't know how practical it is. But who cares about practicality anyway?

I like the Ruger Charger and the kit, but for the money I could buy a PLR-22 or GSG-5 and have change leftover...

I put a Nordic kit on a charger. Took it to the range a couple of weeks ago for the first time and the person I was there shooting with told me that there were all kinds of people watching me shoot it. I also had quite a few come up and inquire about it. I have the same kit on my 10/22 as well. The charger is a good platform to have fun with, but requires a lot of work to make it somewhat reliable now that they coat the inside of the receiver and use plastic trigger housings. The coating needs to be stripped from the inside. The plastic housing needs to be clearanced when installing a hammer/sear kit since there is quite a bit of binding from the warped plastic. I couldn't figure out why people have been complaining about the 10/22 platform lately, since my 10/22 is 25 years old. Now that I have a newer model, I can see where the problems are.
