What should I use to clean the pistol barrel with bronze or brass brush? Or should I use a nylon brush? Glock 17 and RUGER .22/.45 barrels. Thank You for any info.

Bronze is fine.
And way better then nylon for cleaning, unless you are using copper solvent that will eat the bronze brushes for breakfast.

Even with using a bore solvent that is hard on brushes, I went back to bronze brushes. Nylon just doesn't work very well. I rinse the rod, brush or jag after every pass to keep everything clean I run down the barrel anyway. That will minimize the damage to the brushes and jags from solvents.

B12 Chemtool is a favorite for rinsing brushes, jags, and also rinsing out internals when disassembly is not feasible. (Or you just don't feel like it)

M-Pro 7 is a good overall gun cleaner for handgun when you completely disassemble it.

careful with them. Those are for some pretty darn aggressive cleaning. Bronze won't hurt rifling, stainless could.
