While looking in Google for an Masterpiece Arms website to find out more about the MPA-10 I stumbled across http://www.banassaultweapons.org/

I was going to write them or join their forum to ask legitimate questions about why they support the ban. Interesting thing is unless you just want to back them up with their handy online form there is no way to express yourself on their site.

No forum, not even a webmaster email. Nothing. The closest thing I could find was a list of member organizations with links to their sites.

Are these the actions of those who are in the right? Agree with us or go away. You don't need to know why the origional ban went into place you just need to know that it's going away?

Under "The Problem" they have sporterised versions of weapons. What they don't have is a problem. They of course mention the DC sniper, because it got news coverage. But they don't show how banning the weapons will help. They don't show the effect of the ban. They don't concern themselves with violence, statistics, crime, death tolls, or even protecting the childern. It just says their pressious ban is going away and we have to do something about it!

The thing that's so very very sad is the people who will go along with it don't even understand. They're the same people who see Nike commercials and believe getting the latest shoe will make them a great basketball player.

I was really hoping they would put up a fight, but instead they've already run away. Something they know far too much about. . .

It's not an actual organization with real members. It's just a U.R.L. with witless propaganda concocted by other so-called "organizations" whose membership is numbered in the dozens and funded by rich leftist extremists. There's no base there. There are no supporters. There are no members. The only way it amounts to "competition" is that its propaganda can be quoted as fact by leftist extremist newspaper writers, and of course, there are lots of dollars behind such U.R.L.s.

It's just more leftist fakery.
