what choke would suit my needs best? I am into waterfowl, followed by skeet and then upland game (I have a different gun for that though :)) so what 2 chokes should I buy for my remington 870 for these purposes? also, what type of choke tubes? I like the chomp-n-chokes right now.

If you are going to limit yourself to only two chokes, my choices would be; Modified for waterfowl and Improved Cylinder for skeet. Those are the two that spend the most time in my Remingtons. As for "Brand" whatever you have the most confidence in.

Ever thought of getting a poly-choke?

Also if you are a waterfowler, you might use Black Cloud ammo. If you do remember not to shoot them through a ported choke, I have heard of them "Hanging Up" in the ported chokes causing instant barrel replacement.

What kind of waterfowling do you do? I pretty much stick with an Improved Modified tube because that patterns the tightest in my guns with the loads I shoot. I hate waiting for something to get closer and it doesn't.
Skeet or Improved Cylinder choke for shooting skeet. Skeet is actually ideal, but thins out real quick if you want to use it for anything else.
