My cousin sent me this photo. It shows an alternative to the ever-popular compound bow.
I find crossbows fascinating and fun to shoot. Their history is long and colorful. Years ago, I observed several finely crafted medieval crossbows at the Philadelphia Art Museum. 800 years ago, European hunters shot red stags, boar, ibex, and waterfowl with their crossbows!
