After seven months of campaigning mainly as an opponent of the war in Iraq (search), he raised about $5 million and had less than $1 million left in the bank -- not enough to run a credible nationwide campaign.

Question for those in-the-know--what happens to the $5 million now? Does he get to keep it? What a scam. Maybe I'll run for President next term and drop out early.

Good...Never liked him

I think that it will be donated to a charity.

While I had no intention of voting for him in '04, he isn't a total fruitcake. He supported and signed our "Shall Issue" CCW law while he was governor of Florida.

No he did not. He vetoed CCW twice. It was governor BOB MARTINEZ, the first Republican governor in Florida for 18 years, who signed CCW into law in 1987.

Hmm...I thought he signed it right before leaving office. Senility is a terrible thing. In that case, string him up.

I didn't think he had what it takes to be the next Mondale.

Good one, Standing Wolf.

See, you got your Bobs, then you got your Bobs. 'Course then you got your Lawtons (too many syllables for us Floridians), then, since the whole Bob thing has been done to death, you got your Jebs.
