Yes, my 10mm glock coupled with 3 -175gr. silvertips saved my seven year old daughter and myself several years ago.

Not yet, however Ive been drawn down upon and or reliant on another person's skills with a gun against pack dogs in a field one time. Fortunately the dogs never chose to attack. The three of us formed a defensive triangle, one pistol, one sword and one tree limb (That will be me...)

I carry a 9mm on me and i have ol faithfull ready to be deployed as well....M4 carbine over my head!---i have yet to fire one in self defence though!

HD is the last situation I want to be in. However for us that is the worst case and yes we are proceeding to be prepared and refine that level of solving that problem without hurting ourselves or getting killed.

Can't say for sure, but my S&W M66 sure made the 7-8 minute wait for the police to arrive, to take an intruder info custody a lot more comfortable for us than it did him.
