I'll be amazed if I got the web address correct.

I've been supporting Anheuser/Busch for years...........................:D
I am glad a company as large as the St. Louis based AB will stand up for personal freedoms. A Toast !

I just wish they made better beer/ale. Call me an elitist snob, but if I'm going to pour a few hundred calories down my neck, they need to taste better than Bud.

Other than Michelob, do they have a premium beer, on at least the level of Bass, Newcastle, or my favorite, Samuel Smith (Oatmeal stout)?

I like that they did this but I dont like companies being political in general. I think that there are a lot of issues that really dont have anything to do with businesses. I would really prefer if they just kept silent on this type of stuff. It is like some company coming out for or against abortion. It really isnt appropriate. I think it is even funnier when a company support concealed weapons when if someone is carrying and using there product they will go to jail.

I dont like companies being political in general I probably would have said something like this when I was younger but now I realize that EVERYTHING is political and I'm glad somebody used his company to make a statement for a just cause for once.

How many Dolphin Free or Biodegradable labels do you have to see before you get the idea that the corps are doing this to placate the environmentalist wackos? Isn't it about time somebody used some political muscle for a RIGHT guaranteed by the constitution to every individual?

Not in NH they wouldn't. :neener: There's a law against hunting or target practice while over a certain BAC, but there is no mention of alcohol with regards to carrying or self-defense. (It may not be a good idea, of course, but its not specificly illegal).

A-B has thrown lots o' money at both sides in MO for a long time. Why alienate your market. And, Augie Busch's personal opinion aside, it's a safe bet that pro-gun/hunting people drink more A-B products than anti's do.

A-B is getting KILLED in the editorial pages over this.

BTW Destructo, with the rapid rise of all the microbrews A-B has opened a whole line of speciality ales/lagers. Some of them are pretty good. I prefer to buy from the smaller breweries in the area but I guess I need to plunk down my cash for the cause too.
