Statistically speaking, these folks kids are likely doing what they think the acronym represents.

I used to see that Acronym scrawled all over my 3rd grade playground
little did I know it was advertising perfume.

Maybe if parents stood up to a lot of issues similiar to this years ago, morality might be stronger now. My comments from the other side of the coin. Thanks, Byron

Perhaps if parents stood up for issues that mattered, and at home first and foremost, rather than grandstand over something trivial for the sake of publicity, you'd be correct.

I'm just waiting for some nutjob to blame "FCUK" for why their daughter got pregnant and their son is a junky and petty crook. It corrupted their morality, you know.

I think using the initials FCUK is in poor taste, and the company knows it is in poor taste. Thats why they decided to use it. It gets attention.

I thin Lone_Gunman hit the nail on the head.

Clothing store company French Connection United Kingdom ran an ad for one of its perfumes in Seventeen magazine,...

Who lets their daughter read that crap anyway?

It's hardly a bastion of morality and rightness. My daughter will never bring that crap home. And I hope I can raise her to recognize it for the smut it really is so that she'll never find a desire to read it in other places.

I think ARperson has it right. These parents will overlook the 99% of the other trash in their kid's life, or even in this one rag.

I also concur w/ lone gunman, but hardly find the rationale sufficient to warrant its removal from the school library. May as well remove National Geographic, since it shows naked tribal women.
