Though I love the performance of my Benelli Super Nova, I still have a hard time getting over how fugly the forend is.:barf: Does anyone know of a quality aftermarket forend for the Super Nova that looks a little more... normal?

Nope. We might as well get used to the ugly guns as most of the new introductions look like Star Wars replicas.

I think the Super Nova's fore-end is its most "regular" looking part! I love my Nova, but I'm having an awfully difficult time getting past the Super's cumbersome trigger guard and goofy receiver styling.
Speaking of fore-ends though, I would love to see Surefire make one for the Super/Nova. Let's just say that I would be tempted! :D

Good luck on finding one my friend. BTW- Keep in mind, the forend of the Benelli has those "ever so convenient" screws which tend to allow for adjustment of feel/tension. I could be wrong here, but it seems as if most others are of a "closed" design and thus, offer absolutely no adjustment whatsoever, at least easily. Besides, whether Im right or wrong, the Benelli looks cool and forward-thinking. Personally, I applaud them for thinking outside of the proverbial/mundane box and for going with a design which sets them apart from all the rest. Trust me, dollar for dollar, you will not find a better crafted shotgun out there, IMHO.

Absolutely. The thing has worked flawlessly, which is the most important aspect by a mile for a home defense gun. It's just the looks that make my cringe. :p

Benelli has had a problem with aftermarket or replacement parts since they first started being imported.

Though I have some Benelli products that have given no problems yet, There customer service is getting some bad hits, especially for their Franchi and Stoeger semiautos.
