I brought home a new Ruger SBH Hunter in .45LC this evening. Balances very nicely and I think even better than my 6 1/2" models. All fitting seems excellant and the grips have a very nice "figure" for laminates. Problem is it's almost too pretty to shoot. :p The .41 Hunter is next but not likely iuntil Dec/Jan.

Outstanding!
Do you reload? If so, there are some Ruger-only loads that push the 45LC well into 44 Mag territory. I think that there are also some Ruger only commercial loads (Garrett, maybe?).

I have been jonesin' for a 45 colt SBH Hunter for a while ever since Ruger came out with this latest release of the Hunter and now my bank roll is empty and the finance committee says no, not only no but NO
If you do not come up with some pictures or range results soon we are going to spill the beans........
What scope are you putting on it?
What loads are you going to use???

Kinda don't have a digital camera anymore and range time is very limited currently.
I may not scope it. At least not right away. I've got a Blackhawk in .41 with a scope anyways. Besides this Hunter balances perfect now. Still haven't got my laoding gear hear yet. It's setup still and my father's house but... (you think after 2 yrs in the house, I'd have the basebent finished) I could load but like range time, any free time is currently limited.
