Gelgoog March 19, 2009, 04:21 PM no...so stop looking so I can get some :) 3pairs12 March 19, 2009, 04:23 PM http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=433433 cbrgator March 19, 2009, 04:34 PM Thanks 3pairs but that's FTF in Dallas and I'm in Florida unfortunately. 3pairs12 March 19, 2009, 04:42 PM yeah I am little slow. theken206 March 19, 2009, 04:48 PM im sitting on 900 rounds of 123 grain sellior and bellot if you want it. Kymasabe March 19, 2009, 04:55 PM I check almost everyday and there isn't any left. I've got four orders pending, all on "backorder", just waiting for some 7.62 to show up and get shipped. Some online retailers aren't expecting more for months. I think CheaperThanDirt had some left but I think it was something ridiculous like $400 or $500 per thousand. cbrgator March 19, 2009, 04:59 PM What's your price? theken206 March 19, 2009, 05:01 PM I think 300 flat+ shipping is a pretty good deal no? cbrgator March 19, 2009, 05:08 PM How much would shipping be? scouterjoe March 19, 2009, 05:11 PM Try http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=8507&dir=18|830|852 They have some in stock. Joe theken206 March 19, 2009, 05:12 PM whats your zip code? ill check, id say around 25-30-40$ though. cbrgator March 19, 2009, 05:13 PM 33322. Is that roundnose stuff good? I thought it looked weird, but only because I've only ever seen spitzers. H2O MAN March 19, 2009, 05:23 PM I found some in my vault  Phydeaux642 March 19, 2009, 05:23 PM Is 7.62x39 available ANYWHERE? Still in Mother Russia.:neener: PTK March 19, 2009, 05:29 PM Is 7.62x39 available ANYWHERE? Cheap steel cased, basically, NO. $.50/rd and up brass cased reloadable? Sure there is, but it sure is expensive. :) theken206 March 19, 2009, 05:29 PM its "full tip" according to the box, I havent opened it, but im pretty sure its standard FMJ. according to fedex's web sight shipping for home delivery would be around 30 bucks, I would get a more accurate quote for ya though rogerjames March 19, 2009, 05:45 PM 33322. Sunrise, Sunrise Lakes? I am in Coconut Creek. I bought like 4 boxes of Winchester White Box at Walmart in Deerfield Beach 2 weeks ago. Couldn't believe it. They were out of almost every other caliber. I ordered 1000 rounds from Cabelas... been over 6 weeks, no updates, no idea, nada! cbrgator March 19, 2009, 05:50 PM Plantation Duke of Doubt March 19, 2009, 06:39 PM Plenty in every gun store and pawn shop in Maine. Had a sign on it..."I know you're used to $3.00 a box, but those days are long gone...and no it won't go down". Hanzerik March 20, 2009, 12:50 AM Some of our local stores have it, but I'm not desperate enough yet to pay the prices they are asking for it. I am shooting a lot more 22 and 45 lately instead of using up my small stash of 7.62x39. I should have bought a few cases last year. SirYarquest March 20, 2009, 12:56 AM We got in 3 big ammo cases yesterday. Again, not sure if it's cool to promote our site, but I'll put it on the front page in the morning. We are listed as one of the best on line web sites for reloading equipment and suplies. PS we don't price gowge. I Hope I spelled that right. Ignition Override March 20, 2009, 01:04 AM Yes-two days ago, at a small hunting/fishing store on I-40, about 30 min. west of Nashville. It is right next to the on-ramp for westbound traffic. We were driving from the Tellico River (TN) hills back to Memphis. But when the price for 20 rds. is about $8 (they had about 800-1,000 rds. total), why buy it at such a scalper-price? Their price for .223 was also ridiculous. Apparently, many (young?) guys who shoot don't mind getting really ripped off. The store also had about five lonely WASR "AKs" in the corner -each waiting for a dance partner"- but as with the ammo, were also ignored at a price of about $550 each. Big Bill March 20, 2009, 01:14 AM $8.00 for 20I pay $32 for 20 .300 WSM - so why are ya'll bitchin? DeepSouth March 20, 2009, 01:30 AM Cabelas has WOLF 1'000 rnds for $265 (for now) (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0064210216761a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=7.62x39&Ntk=Products&sort=all&Go.y=8&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&Go.x=20&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1) EDIT: Nevermind: back ordered but only 0-1 weeks Ignition Override March 20, 2009, 01:47 AM Big Bill: I wasn't complaining, having bought a whole bunch from March '08 until last summer. And refuse to buy any 'inflated ammo', whether now, or in three more years. Only puzzled about why so many find these prices acceptable and keep the panic bubble inflated. Shooting somebody's AK, (my SKS or Mini 30) would be no fun, if it was all bought at these prices, unless they are wealthy. They might as well have bought an M-1 Garand a few years ago and lots of 30-06, or an M1A1 and surplus.308. rogerjames March 20, 2009, 04:29 PM Cabelas has WOLF 1'000 rnds for $265 (for now) EDIT: Nevermind: back ordered but only 0-1 weeks  Ordered mine over 6 weeks ago. Still waiting... and waiting... :banghead: Guitargod1985 March 20, 2009, 07:21 PM I just received 500 rounds Wold 122 gr FMJ from Cabela's on Wednesday. Wanna know when I placed the order? FEBRUARY 9th! It said backordered 0-1 week when I placed my order. I kept checking the website and they filled up orders and were backordered TWICE before they got a shipment in to send my order out last week. ETA: Buck's Gun Rack in Daytona Beach has some Wolf FMJ for $6.50/20, which isn't THAT bad if you just need a little bit. I made a trip up there about three weeks ago just for 200 rounds because I couldn't wait for my Cabela's order and I wasn't going to pay $9.50 for a box of 20 at the Gander Mountain a mile up the street. I have a VERY fuel efficient car, and a buddy of mine wanted something from Buck's so we split the gas and I came out on top. rogerjames March 20, 2009, 07:46 PM I just received 500 rounds Wold 122 gr FMJ from Cabela's on Wednesday. I just got off the phone with Cabelas and they said maybe the end of the month. :banghead: Guitargod, if you are OK with it, will you PM me your name so I can file a complaint with Cabelas. I have heard from others that they are filling 500 round orders first, which I think is BS, especially since I am paying twice as much! Customer service said I would need the name of the customer who placed their order after me, in order to file a complaint. sernv99 March 20, 2009, 07:55 PM not worth having an AK if 'x39 is so friggin expensive. Frankl03 March 20, 2009, 08:08 PM Try Sportsmans Guide. They have 500 silver bear for $150 and some brass (berdan primed) cased stuff 900 for under $300. Hope that helps! rogerjames March 20, 2009, 08:11 PM With tax and shipping from Cabelas I paid $250 for 1000 rounds. That's 25cents/round. Pretty cheap IMO. Albert A Rasch March 20, 2009, 11:09 PM This might be of some help in your search Ammo Engine (http://trochronicles.blogspot.com/2009/03/cheapest-ammo-ammo-engine.html) Regards, Albert A Rasch The Rasch Outdoor Chronicles (http://trochronicles.blogspot.com) The Range Reviews: Tactical (http://trrtactical.blogspot.com) Redneck with a 40 March 20, 2009, 11:45 PM I loaded up on 3000 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 back in '07. Smart move, as I can weather this storm, still have 2000 rounds left.:) SirYarquest March 21, 2009, 12:33 AM Sorry, we were slammed today I didn't get the Ammo on the web site. We're charging 17.95 for 40 a round box. Is that fair? PTK March 21, 2009, 12:35 AM If it's brass cased and reloadable, yes. If it's steel cased, no. :) SirYarquest March 21, 2009, 12:44 AM How can we tell if it's corrosive or not? maskedman504 March 21, 2009, 01:08 AM My local Wallyworld has Remington 7.62 in stock. (one of three calibers they can seem to keep on the shelves). I ordered 7.62 bulk Wolf from Cabela's; 500 rnds backordered estimated 2-3 weeks- Cabela's was true to their quoted back order time frame. Ammo arrived in 17 days. Edit: Ammo ordered March 3 arrived on March 20.
