I have had a Rossi for 7 years. If you had asked me this morning I would have told you I have been satisfied with the gun. I just sat on hold with "customer service" for over 13 min on the 3rd phone call to them. I got a guy who when I asked for springs I got well there are alot of springs in there which one do you want. I replied all of them. I asked for a trigger return spring to which I was told thats a "restricted" part. I translate that to pay $50 freight and we will fix it for you. I guess I am spolied by Smith & Wesson customer service they would have sent me the parts and paid freight on them. I guess thats why they have a loyal following. I will say that a .50 spring just cost them my business.

Rossi is a south american company. This means customer service is going to be a bit more...sketchy. I'm sure a south american native purchasing a smith and wesson would have far more issues with customer service, repair times, ect than a US native.

Ok I assume they are from Brazil. I have had past dealings with people from Brazil and have never had a problem and found them quite likable. I always extended the type of customer service I would expect because they paid me in US dollars I didnt care. The number I called was in Miami which I guess I should have realized I was calling another country. I spent my money I was willing to spend more of it. I was asking to buy the springs not looking for them to send them for free. I guess I should have spent my US dollars with a US company and I would have been able to get what I was wanting lesson learned. Life is an education you learn from your mistakes and move on.

I think Rossi's policy of not selling the spring to the consumer is the main bone of contention here, not time, availability, or nationality.
Taurus has/had a problem with their PT semis. The recoil spring assembly would pop out through the front of the slide. They wouldn't ship them out either, you had to send the entire pistol to them for "repair"
Camsdaddy, did you try Wolff's to see if they list springs for it?

I have a Rossi M68. My gunsmith said that it was a identical to a "Lady Smith". He said the parts would interchange. What model do you have? It might be a copy also. Then you could get USA parts.

Any idea which model would be equivelent spring wise. The models listed as Rossi seem to be Taurus model numbers.
