In 1996 I bought a Sig P229. About a year later I had to sell it to a friend, and it took me this long for him to sell it back. Well, he had polished the slide to a high shine. I did not like the looks of it. I thought about sending it away to be refinished, but shipping and turn around times changed my mind so I had it bead blasted by a local Sig armorer. It came back with a real rough finish so I lightly polished it, It is still matte, but with a slight sheen. I am pretty happy with the results. What do you think?
