picked it up today. ordered from classicarms. like everything i have purchased from them, their description is spot on. it's in great condition, only real wear is on the handgrips.
i learned how to load it and eject spent casings from it. jesus christ, no wonder the soviet union failed. even going as fast as you can i doubt reloading can be done in more than 30 seconds
yes, that's a ****ty cell phone pic. i'm going to bust out my real digital camera later and make some gun porn though, so i'll get better pics of my stuff then. (picked up a bunch of AK ammo and mags today at the gun show. now i can finally shoot the damn thing!)

Nice. I have been wanting a nagant since I let two beautiful ones slip through my hands a month ago. I think my girlfriend is getting me one for my B-day :)

Well, the Nagant was obsolete by World War II, and was being replaced with the Tokarev.

I haven't shot mine yet -- my nagant ammo has yet to arrive, but I'll post up about shooting it once I do. As a collector item, I think it's cool as **** though. It's just a very unique (if stupid) design. Due to my line of work, I can appreciate unique designs, so I was immediately drawn to this the second I read about what it was.

I am dying for a nice condition Tokarev. Classicarms had some, I tried to order, but they were sold out by the time I got through. I've seen some nice ones on gunbroker, but they want $350+ for them. Classicarms only wanted $200, which is all they wanted for my CZ-82 which came to me in pristine condition (never fired, never touched). If you know where to get one, let me know.

Harmon Rabb: J&G had some VERY nice Tokarev's a couple of weeks ago. I missed out, but a friend who got one received an almost pristine gun. They were $229.
