It has been a year since I have shot my Remington 870 Express HD. This was mostly due to my purchase of an AR-15 last November. I forgot whata thumper it could be with slug loads. Actually I did pretty well with it, despite the length of time since I last shot it. I am going to have to make sure I take it out more often. Still patterns best with Winchester 00 Buck.

Methinks, Rob, both you and that 870 need more exercise. Run some skeet with it, shoot some tin cans or rats at the dump. Have fun and get better...

I fully agree with you Dave. I do need to do more shotgun work. When I was firing it regularly I was doing very good with it. I'll be having more range sessions with it. I allowed myself to get to cozy with my AR.
