So i just bought this cool .45 from my friend, his father had disassembled it to clean it about 10 years ago and never put it back together for some reason...so i got it for $100 and cleaned it up and put it together...except it is missing the firing pin stop plate and my friend doesn't have it...will a regular 1911 stop plate fit this gun?

I'm embarrassed to report that the correct speeling is Ballester-Molina, not ballister as I reported earlier.

Yea i can find tons of info on them just no parts, found out the particular one i have was bought from Century Arms International a while ago.

Picture time! as you can see the only markings on it are the stamp on the lower which is 47656 and right under the slide which says CAI Georgia VT no other markings at all, its pretty solid although ill probably be replacing the barrel soon as it is pretty dirty and shot out.
