i see a lot of true glow red dots for shot guns for $30-$40.
Do they hold up on shot guns or are they a pos that will fall apart?:scrutiny:

What type/brand of shotgun is this for? Im assuming that you possibly have a front bead sight only. If this is the case, I would consider skipping the "Truglo" and going with a tritium front bead sight. Again, this is assuming you have this type of sight setup to begin with.

I personally have nothing against the "Truglo" sights, but they just arent for me since my main shotgun is primarily for HD use.

I dont have any experience with them, but I wouldn't put a $30 red dot on a 12 gauge. Forget about it or save up.

If its a turkey gun, maybe something like this would be useful....it would depend what you are using the shotgun for, and whether it would need something like this(?)

If your gun is for clays or wing shooting, don't bother - if it's for deer or turkey, it may or may not help
