Law suits are now being filed to stop ccw.

Please consider joining/supporting a pro gun organization in your area that is fighting "hands on" to keep the law that will be in effect on OCT. 11.

People,
The liberal anti-gun politicians and supporters are not giving up. They want this law overturn and gone.

For those in the KC area PLEASE consider joining the Western Missouri Shooters Alliance. I am a current member of the NRA and am going to joing the WMSA.

I am sure that there is an organization in STL and other cities that is very similar to this one.

It makes me wonder why these elected officials do not want to allow law-abiding citizens, who have been taught the law, who have exhibited some qualified competence with a firearm and who have passed a serious background check to carry a concealed weapon?

Are they afraid for their own safety? Do they not trust themselves with a handgun and thus know that the little people are equally going to go berserk. Can they not see what has, or better yet, what has not happened in a majority of other states who allow "shall issue" carry?

Do they really think "blood will flow in the streets?"

Or, is it simply total control over the taxpayers.

I'm thinking about joining WMSA and I live in Las Vegas NV (was born and raised in Indep. MO.) Now's the time I reckon.

Must be some form of Democratic disease thats eaten away the reasoning portion of their brain, leaving only emotion as their guiding force.

Thanks for the heads up Ford.

Adios

I will admit that I do not know much about WMSA. What I do know is that in almost every article and almost every TV interview Kevin James the president keeps showing up. He is an attorney and has been working to get ccw passed in Missouri for years. He seems to be one of the key forces in getting and keeping this law.

the people of missouri sue the plaintiff's in this case for wasting our hard earned tax dollars on their agenda of turning this around..the law was passed and that was that..now they are wasting money on fighting it...? would someone have the chance of winning a law suit against that group if a family member was killed and the family member or someone with them would of had a ccw...seems if they feel they have the right to decide how you can protect yourself or your family then they have to take responsibility for taking that away? thoughts to ponder

Denver did the same thing with Colorado's new shall issue law—or at least, talked about it.

You can always count on leftist extremists to have a hissing fit, complete with assault lawyers, whenever the nation's civil rights take a small step forward.

If these leftists are like the ones in MD (and I'll bet they are), there is no argument in the world that will allow them to debate this rationally. They don't care about training or background checks, they know darn well that the streets won't be "drenched in blood", and it just doesn't matter.

They are afraid of guns, don't want anyone to have them, and in their version of utopia don't feel like anyone needs them. Most have no experience with firearms other than movies, TV, and newspaper stories about guns "just going off".

Their argument is totally emotional rather than rational, and for the hardcore leftists its how something "makes you feel" thats important, not facts or the reality of the world we all live in.
