My Father passed away last December and I sure miss him. One of the treasures I have from him is his Model 63, I got it from him during a visit last summer. It's a sweet little revolver that is amazingly accurate for a 4 inch gun. The action on it is crisp and clean which adds to it's accuracy. I carried it last season as a field sidearm when I was grouse hunting. All my birds were taken with my scatterguns, but I'm sure that one day, one of them will be glued to a limb and not want to flush. Then we'll see what the little revolver can do...

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad about 4 years ago and my Mom last year. It is hard sometimes, but knowing they are in Heaven helps.

That is a fine revolver for sure and finer because it belonged to your Dad.

I'm sorry for your loss but your father gave you a special gift, the memories of shooting together. Every time you shoot that revolver all the memories will come back no matter how old you get. Just remember to tell his stories to your children when they shoot the same revolver with you.

I love it when firearms are treated as family treasures. You obviously had a special relationship with your dad, and I'm glad you can carry a great revolver like that to stir up your fond memories of him.

My grandpa taught me to shoot a revolver with that same model. He's gone, but grandma now uses it as a home protection gun.

I bought a Model 63 in 1985 and it has been my constant companion in the field ; it is one of the few firearms that I couldn't part with.

I can only hope my sons look at it and think of me fondly when I am gone.
