Does anyone from wyoming know if spotlighting for jack rabbits is legal. I looked at a few places and wasn't able to find anything out. I live in utah and was thinking about going camping near kemmemmer this weekend . I don't want to get arrested or something, thanks:confused:

Yeah, it's legal with written permission of the land owner, or in case of a federal lease, the resident manager or person controlling the lease. I do not recall the exact language.

When I spotlight for predators but I call the area game warden to tell him when and where so he doesn't get called out in the middle of the night for nothing.

It is legal and you won't get arrested if you aren't on someone's property. I did some this past weekend. A good tactical light on an AK and a laser works great.
