A good friend of mine is a gun dealer, mostly for Cowboy Action firearms. Last year he ordered a dozen of the TTN Model 1887 lever action shotguns and 6 of them finally came in the other day. He listed one on Gun Broker and it sold in 12 minutes from the time he listed it. This has to be some kind of record....

People have been waiting for more of them to be imported and reach the dealers. This is the Cowboy season. All Cowboy firearms are selling very well right now.
All firearms are.

Not a shotgun, but I listed a POF lower receiver around mid November of last year, with what I though was a reasonable starting price and an unreasonably high buy it now price. Someone hit buy it now about 45 seconds after the auction was listed.
I actually got the email notification that the auction was listed and the email notification that the item had sold at the same time. I though there was some sort of mistake.
I still don't know how someone even found it that quickly.
