Need a source for Full Wood for an old mod 37.

I have a possiblity of getting this, and if so I want wood.
This originally was purchased new by an LEO, for a businessman to keep on premises, IIRC late 70's early 80's. I have not seen this SG since mid to late 80's, I was the first person to ever shoot this gun, I ran part of a box (25) that day...I was the last person to shoot his gun. It has just been sitting. I haven't seen it since, but I want it. Too many years , too many SGs shot since to fully recall details ...other than dust bunnies and needing inspect and cleaning, should be in fine shape. Has been loaded all this time. LEO ordered basically the issue gun, in PG. I recall syn PG, park'd, swivels, and ext mag , I can't recall the # of shell ext, or bbl length...probably 18"...it was cyl bore. and the ext was about same length of bbl.

But...If I get I want full wood stock, not black but wood. Leather slings look best with wood--right ? :) IIRC didn't these have the "corn-cob" fore-end...?...I'm hoping because that is what I want.

So need a source, I know I'm going backwards according to some, full wood and leather slinged...but I'm crossing fingers and trying to be cool ...but keep bumping my head on ceiling jumping up and down...:D

I hope... I hope... I hope...

Ithaca, Numrich, Brownell's, in roughly that order.

Nice piece, hope it works out for you.

IIRC, a corn cob indeed.

Enjoy!

Thanks Dave.
I figured I'd start with Numrich, just wasn't sure whom else.
Its a freebie...so have to wait a wee bit, just until things gets settled on their end. Patience, and being a good boy many many years ago, helping folks out...pays off... yippee !

73, sometimes casting bread on the waters just makes the carp fishing better. This time, though, mayhap the Karma balances.

Let me know how the project goes, OK?

I'ts a shame, I have 3, 37 d.s. police's. I gave one stock away to a guy that had a broken deerslayer. I have a chote side folder on the one it came off of. It complements nicely with the surefire forestock and my giles sling. I use it as my self defense pistol, while fishing in AK. Did you know that they all used to come with crimp-chokes; all mine guage out at about 1/2 way betweene IC and MD! I found this out the hard way, after shredding spruce grouse in AK with heavy loads. I though it was Cly. like all other old riot gun's! The guy's at camp kept getting P.O.'ed at me.:D

Boyd's gunstock industries make brand new, finished or unfinished walnut stocks for the 37/87. Their forends are corn-cob only it would seem. Numrich on the other hand has the checkered beavertail forend and other options. Numrich's stuff is usually used, but serviceable.

Boyd's website is www.boydboys.com

Good luck
