Another house gun

Looking to get another well placed house gun (not for CCW). Would you get a...
-- S&W Model 24 3"
-- Model 327 snubbie
-- Model 25 3"
I like attributes of all three but having trouble deciding.
The assumption is that if anything happens, this weapon would be used inside the house, possibly in dark at very close range (less than five yards).

Something you could mount a tactical light to. If you can blind an intruder, then you may not need to pull the trigger.

I should have said "backup" house gun because our primary go-to weapon already has a light on it. This will be a last ditch alamo gun if everything else in the system fails.

I'd get the 25 3" assuming it's a .45 ACP, I have a 625 5" Bbl. so i have a stock of .45 Auto RIm as well as .45 ACP for the 625 as well as 1911.
Are you thinking of one of the LEw HOrton 24 or 25s? THey're in the catalogue but only available via Lew Horton if they have any left. or else
used.
You might consider a 21 or 22 4" w/fixed sights

That sure would be a nice firearm to own. I would definitely go with at least a 3" barrel. It sure makes it much more fun at the range. I see no real need for a snub nose in the house. I do see what you are getting at though with a last ditch effort gun. Hopefully it will never come to that.
