I feel like I'm cheating!!!

Ever since buying this Kel-Tec P32, I don't want to carry my Kimber anymore. Not that I don't feel more comfortable with the Kimber and I can shoot it better. But MAN, it is nice to just have that little thing in my pocket vs. the Kimber on my hip.

Advice for a cheating heart?

Why not both? I like the weight on my hip :)

Get some good quality balloons. Blow 'em up and shoot at 'em with your Keltec.

Watch the bullets knock the balloons around without popping them.

Seek your comfort zone from there.

Sounds like the only way to make your cheated-upon Kimber feel better is to buy another gun......That way, there's always two guns left behind when you carry the third.

And the two guns can keep each other company and not feel so lonely.

Take your Kimber out for a good long range session & remember why you bought her in the 1st place ;)

Look at it this way..... Its 2:00 am in the morning and you're asleep. Your bedroom door comes crashing in and there is a 6' 6" giant of a man coming at you. You gonna shoot him with that Kel tec, OR would you feel a little better armed with that BIG ole 45....:D

I have one of those little Kel Tek .32's also. It goes into my pocket on many a day, but it dosen't feal like the Kimber on my hip, and will not replace the Kimber on my hip, it is just something additional, that I can have in my hand while my hand is in my pocket for the really close stuff that might sneak up on me in a parking lot or other tight quarters.

If you really want to stop cheating, blindly walk into a scary situation with your little gun...

Made me go from a 640 to 4506 for awhile ;)

Don't feel bad. If you send me your Kimber, you won't have to feel like you are neglecting it. I'll take good care of it. Clean and oil it, shoot it all the time, carry it, the works. E-mail me if this sounds reasonable to you.

Door bashers get greeted by Mr. Remington 870 at my house.

Hey, Tarpley G, got a scattergun yet? That could be your third gun....you know, to keep the one you leave at home company.

What Blueduck said!

I was getting awfully complacent about carrying my P32 instead of something bigger, until I found myself thinking about actually having to depend on it alone, in a situation where I could have been carrying more. I have changed my habits accordingly. I'm with H.L. on this one...

I switched from a full sized 1911 to a compact CD .45 down to a little CZ 32acp.

Why?

Because the heat, my clothing, sweat, printing etc..

I figured it would be better to have a gun I could wear 24/7 instead of one that was inconvenient and left at home.

If the keltec is on you all the time I wouldn't feel guilty.

Rod & hillbilly,

That's what I have a shotgun for...

Anyway, these aren't my only guns, I have plenty to keep each other company. Still feels odd though. Maybe I can designate a different gun for each day of the week.

Tarpley G.....that's right.

Just stand in front of your gun safe, or lay all your handguns out of a counter top or sofa or bed.

Then start with one and point at it and say "Monday."

Then move on down the line with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc.....

You need at least seven handguns that way.....plus you might want "special" guns for specific holidays or specific ocassions.....Hmmmm....what's a good bar mitzvah gun, anyway? No, I'm not even Jewish, but if someone ever invited me to a bar mitzvah, I'd need to be prepared to dress appropriately.......hmmmm...........time to go shopping again.......

Simple solution to nonexistent problem: Carry your Kimber whenever you would have before you bought the P-32, carry the P-32 when you wouldn't have bothered to carry the Kimber!

And don't forget to carry the P-32 while you're carrying your Kimber. Ya just never know.....

That's amazing... my carry combo is a p32 and Ultra Carry. Kimber stays in the safe when clothing/weather is an issue.
