Just surfing the VPC trying to use up B/W:evil: when I came across this picture.
http://www.banassaultweapons.org/the_problems_and_the_players/ At the bottom of the page it gives several pictures of pre-ban and post-ban "Assault Weapons".:scrutiny:

Isn't the AK-47 on the bottem a AK-22, not even a real AK-47 baned by the ban? and the post ban version is not even an AK-47 but a AK-74. If they could get all there facts straight they might be dangerous...O I forgot they don't need the facts straight they just need them to fit whatever they are talking about.

Soon after passage of the assault weapons ban in 1994, the gun industry began to make slight, cosmetic changes to banned weapons to circumvent the law.EXACTLY THE POINT! We have said from the outset that this "ban" was nothing more than the banning of cosmetic features while doing nothing that affects the performance of the firearm. Now we hear it from the belly of the beast gurgling up through its usually gaping lying maw. That's one in a row for VPC!

In the twisted mind of the VPC, compliance with the law equals circumvention.

Yep. If they were even remotely concerned about law, they'd advocate taking action against the criminals who commit crimes, not the law-abiding citizens—the vast majority, of course—who don't commit crimes.
They're just wannabe tyrants.

Soon after passage of the 55MPH speed law in 1994, the driving public began to drive at 54MPH to circumvent the law.:D :D :D
